Tollemache Arms

After an extensive refurbishment, the Tollemache Arms has re-opened under new management.

The Tollemache Arms is set in the small village of Alpraham, in the vicinity of some lovely picturesque villages such as Tarporley and Bunbury. There are numerous attractions nearby, such as Chester Zoo, Oulton Park racing track and the famous Bunbury Locks. But if it's a bustling shopping break you're after, or a day at the races, Chester City centre is only 10 miles away, making The Tollemache a great location for whatever type of break you're after.

We are proud to say we have recently been awarded 4* by the AA. This award was given for our excellent hospitality, the superb standard of cleanliness throughout the building, and shows that we always aim to go that one step further for our customers, exceeding their expectations whenever possible.

Facilities

The Tollemache Arms is a large public house, with an even larger beer-garden, making it a great destination for the Summer months ahead. There is a large bar area with wood-burning fires, a separate dining room also with a roaring fire, and a separate residents' lounge containing a flat-screen television.

We pride ourselves on our good food, wines and well-kept real ales. Our produce is sourced locally, and we have a lighter bites menu, a main course menu and a children's menu, as well as specials for both adults and kids.
